“You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, because I am wonderfully made.” ~ Psalm 139:13-14
“The Gospel of Life is at the heart of Jesus’ message. Lovingly received day after day by the Church it is to be preached with dauntless fidelity as “good news” to the people of every age and culture.” – Pope St. John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae, March 25, 1995.
St. Patrick Respect Life Ministry developed this page of pro-life resources in an effort to foster a culture of life in our parish, our community, and our world through education, support and prayer. Should you wish to speak with someone at the parish for additional information, please contact Jen Keller at jenkellersp@gmail.com or 610-444-4364.
Rediscover the Church’s teaching on LIFE:
- The Gospel of Life – Pope St. John Paul II’s encyclical, The Gospel of Life, conveys the splendor of the Church’s teachings on the sanctity of human life. Consider reading (or re-reading) it to be immersed anew in God’s delight in our existence and the moral implications of that love.
Educational Resources regarding the development of the human person from the moment of conception:
- A Glimpse Inside, an educational program designed to help young people see for themselves the medical and scientific answer to the question, “When does human life begin?”
- Meet Baby Oliva – The Baby Olivia project provides a medically accurate, animated glimpse of human life from the moment of fertilization. The story details her growth as she progresses from one developmental stage to the next, in preparation for her continued life outside of the womb.
