“What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has the eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.” – St. Augustine
When Christ died, the apostles felt exactly as we feel. But the risen Christ joined them, opened their eyes and turned their sorrow into joy. Volunteers of the ministries of healing become signs of the love God has for His people and a sign of His presence with them. Please contact us if you feel called to participate in one of these special ministries.
Bereavement Ministry
The Bereavement Ministry provides emotional and spiritual support to those who have lost loved ones. This includes assistance at the time of death, presence at the funeral liturgy and Seasons of Hope Support Group which helps us explore mourning through scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing. For more information, please contact Kathy Sarnecki at kathysarnecki@yahoo.com.
Cemetery Committee
Our Parish Cemetery Committee meets regularly to review the procedures and policies regarding our cemetery. It is their task to make recommendations, to advise the pastor about the future needs/development of the cemetery, and to insure the best practices in the stewardship and care of our parish cemetery.
